Queens, NY. They are the author of two self-published chapbooks (Poems
about Poland for Americans, 2011, and Parts of the Passion, 2015) and have
published work with Tagvverk and Ethics Magazine, among others. Samuel
has exhibited text-based performance work with the Brooklyn Rail, Poetry
Project, and Metropolitan Salon Series, among others. Beyond writing and
performance, Samuel is also a member of the film programming collective
Light Field, which organizes an experimental film festival held annually in
San Francisco. Reading and writing are their favorite things to do, with a
close second being playing tennis with their partner in the bright sunshine.
