Aarushi Agni (she/they, @aarushifire) is a writer, comedian, educator,
musician, and person. Her writing has appeared in Apartment Therapy,
Nerdist, McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, and Belladonna Comedy. She’s
performed at New York Poetry Festival, New York Queer Comedy Festival,
Asian Comedy Festival, New York Theatre Festival, Joe’s Pub, Littlefield, etc.
She recently debuted her solo show Emoji: The Hieroglyphs of Our Time or
How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Send the Risky Text. Agni has an MFA
in writing from Pratt. She performs stand-up, sketch, and improv around
New York, and her band Tin Can Diamonds is streaming everywhere.
